Dr Kevin Su completed Rheumatology training at the end of 2020. He completed tertiary studies at the University of Queensland then underwent residency and basic physician training based at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. He completed Rheumatology specialist training in various hospitals across Queensland, including Princess Alexandra Hospital, Greenslopes Private Hospital, Townsville Hospital and Gold Coast University Hospital. He has a keen interest in research and underwent a clinical research fellowship at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom during his final year of training. Allowing him to concentrate on his field of particular interest, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, with a research focus on inflammatory skin diseases and Lupus Protein Expression Patterns.
Kevin likes to integrate his passion for fitness into patient care. In his spare time, aside from being a film/theatre buff, he enjoys staying active by kickboxing and has been an active practitioner of Muay Thai (sometimes referred to as "Thai boxing") for close to ten years.
