Dr Nicholas Tong is a rheumatologist with expertise in the diagnosis and management of a broad range of rheumatological conditions, including inflammatory autoimmune diseases and non-inflammatory musculoskeletal disorders.
He completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland and undertook specialist rheumatology training across Queensland, including at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital,Sunshine Coast University Hospital and Gold Coast University Hospital. He has also held senior roles as Chief Medical Registrar at Princess Alexandra Hospital and Mater Hospital South Brisbane.
Nick is an accredited Visiting Medical Officer at Greenslopes Private Hospital and is involved in medical education as a lecturer with the University of Queensland.
He speaks Cantonese and welcomes patients who prefer to consult in this language.
Outside of work, Nick enjoys spending time with his young family. He is a keen home cook, enjoys running, and is a dedicated Brisbane Lions supporter.
